On the Jones Spool Type 2, the machine bed is decorated with a bunch of roses typical of Jones Hand Machines (Reciprocating Shuttle) Type 11 with the first recorded machine serial number # 113.697 made in 1892 and on Jones Family CS Type 2 from 1893.
On the Jones Spool, the sliding inspection plate bear the new Trademark with three circles, one inside the other; the same Trademark was on the Jones Hand Machines (Reciprocating Shuttle) on the Cloth Plate in 1892 and on Jones Family CS placed on the take-up lever inspection plate, in 1893.
